A combat controller from the 23rd Special Tactics Squadron is recovered after performing a free fall jump over Djibouti, May 8, 2015. Pararescuemen from the 82nd Expeditionary Rescue Squadron, combat controllers from the 23rd STS, and U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal team members from Task Force Sparta conduct freefall and static line jump training in a HC-130 flown by the 81st Expeditionary Rescue Squadron. The 81st ERQS is a New York Air National Guard unit deployed to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, in support of humanitarian aid and contingency operations in the U.S. Africa Commands area of responsibility.
