Soldiers of the 555th Engineer Brigade, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash. and students in the Gateway to Technology class at Pioneer Middle School, DuPont, Wash., learn about the technical aspects of building a water treatment facility as part of the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics partnership aimed at getting students interested in STEM industries, June 3, 2015. The two partnered together to create a STEM outreach program for the middle school students that aims to help supplement the schools by showing students the application of the subjects they learn.
