(June 5, 2015) Guests take a moment to inspect engraving on USS Chosin's (CG 65) ship's bell while on a tour of the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser during 106th annual Rose Festival and Portland Fleet Week. Navy tradition dictates that when a child is christened aboard a Navy ship, their name is engraved inside the ship's bell.
