    The U.S. Flag flies over a statue of Pfc. Thomas Tucker, who is depicted extending a helping hand to an Iraqi girl. The statue was dedicated in Madras, Ore., Aug. 23, as a veteran?s memorial in Friendship Park. Tucker, 25, was killed near Baghdad, Iraq, June 16, 2006. The memorial project was spearheaded by friends of Tucker and Madras High School students.
