150601-N-HQ940-001 U.S. 5th FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (June 1, 2015) – The guided missile destroyer USS Paul Hamilton (DDG 60) sails in company with the guided-missile destroyer USS McFaul (DDG 74). McFaul is independently deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed, maritime security operations and theatre security cooperation efforts in the region.
