Lt. Gen. Mike Hostage, U.S. Air Forces Central Command commander, is greeted by Maj. Gen. Joseph Reynes, Jr., Air Component Coordination Element commander, after landing here Aug. 24. During his visit, Hostage participated in a Patriot Detail on Sather Air Base to honor a fallen Soldier. Later, he visited U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Charles Jacoby, Multi-National Corps-Iraq commanding general, where he assured Jacoby the Air Force is dedicated to supporting operations here for the duration of Operation Iraqi Freedom. This journey marked Hostage's first trip to Iraq since he assumed command of AFCENT Aug. 5.
