U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific Marines salute during morning colors, June 9, 2015, aboard Camp H. M. Smith, Hawaii. Morning colors was followed by a MARFORPAC dedication ceremony in which three conference rooms were dedicated in the headquarters in honor of Lt. Gen. Henry “Hank” Stackpole III, retired MARFORPAC commander, Sgt. Maj. Michael “Iron Mike” Mervosh, retired Fleet Marine Forces Pacific sergeant major and Jim Nabors, an Honorary Marine sergeant best known for playing the title character in the 1960s television show “Gomer Pyle, USMC.” (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
