Marines search for locations on a map by using grid coordinates June 1 during exercise Fuji Warrior at the Combined Arms Training Center, Camp Fuji, Japan. Marines spent two days studying land navigation techniques before tackling the dense vegetation of the training area. Fuji Warrior is conducted to instill the Marine Corps ethos of “Every Marine is a rifleman.” This training provided Marines with Headquarters Regiment, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force the opportunity to conduct combat training relevant to current operating environments.
