MANADO, INDONESIA (June 5, 2015) Commanding Officer Thomas Stephens welcomes visiting members of the Indonesian armed forces aboard Whidbey Island-class amphibious dock landing ship USS Rushmore (LSD 47) during a reception on the ship's flight deck. The Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) is currently deployed on a regularly scheduled deployment in the 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
