Army Reserve Mariners with the 548th Transportation Detachment conduct an invasive boarding drill over their battle assembly weekend on board of the Army Logistic Support Vessel (LSV-7) Staff Sgt. Robert T. Kuroda, 25 miles off the coast of Oahu, Hawaii, June 6, 2015. The “invasive boarding drill” is performed in order to quickly search the vessels rooms and compartments in order to apprehend the enemy or non-authorized personnel that have boarded the ship. The “quick reaction force team” must navigate the vessels confined stairways and narrow hallways, thus making engaging targets more difficult as the ship never stops rocking side to side.
