Members of the National Commission for the Future Army met with Army Reserve Soldiers at Fort Bragg, N.C., as part of a fact finding tour June 9. Commission member Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Jack Stultz, former Chief of Army Reserve, listens to a Soldier's comments during a visit to the headquarters of the U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (Airborne), a major subordinate command of the U.S. Army Reserve. The tour and visit culminated with a public hearing held in Fayetteville, N.C., June 10. The commission was established by Congress as part of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2015 and is chartered with assessing the future size and force structure of the Army and its reserve components, and making recommendations to Congress based on their determinations.
