One of Capt. James E. Wheeler's sons steps out during the U.S. Army Pacific Family Fun Run, June 5. Wheeler serves with the 8th Special Troops Battalion, 8th Theater Support Command, and was at the 1.5 mile family fun run on Fort Shafter that is a part of several activities associated with the Pacific Theater Army Week. Soldiers will participate in various activities in the week-long celebration which commemorates the Army’s 117-year presence in the Pacific region.
