Master Sgt. Larry A. Robles, the operations chief of 2nd Marine Headquarters Group, and his fellow Marines are awarded the Praetorian Challenge gladiatorial sword by Col. Thomas J. Gordon, the commanding officer of 2nd MHG, during the unit’s Beach Bash where Marines and their families came together to relax and enjoy some healthy competition on Onslow Beach aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., June 10, 2015. Gordon explained that the unit would not be able to operate at the high level of readiness that it does without the support of the Marines’ families and that this event was meant to reward them for their hard work and dedication to mission accomplishment.
