Capt. Mark Modell, a C130J pilot with Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 352 Detachment "A," Marine Aircraft Group 40, Marine Expeditionary Brigade - Afghanistan, points out a terrain feature on a map over Lashkar Gar, Helmand Province. Modell and five other pilots, from VMGR-152, MAG-36, III Marine Expeditionary Force, from Okinawa, Japan, as part of the unit's first combat deployment since the Vietnam era. The Marines with VMGR-152 recently earned the Henry Wildfang Award, for being named the Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron of the Year.
