The first KC-130J to land on Camp Dwyer touches down on the new expeditionary airstrip, Aug. 27. Marines with Marine Wing Support Squadron 371 began construction on the runway, Aug. 9. The strip is made up of more than 4,000 pieces of AM-2 matting and measures more than 4,300 feet. The aircraft belongs to Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 352, the 'Raiders.'
