Soldiers of 2nd Battalion, 130th Field Artillery fire reduced-range practice rockets from a High-Mobility Artillery Rocket System June 14, 2015, at Fort Riley, Kan. The battalion operations center successfully communicated the fire mission from the Great Plains Joint Training Center in Salina, Kan., to the field crew members at Fort Riley, some 65 miles away, using Harris radios. This mission made the Kansas National Guardsmen among the first in the nation to complete such a task from a significant distance. (Photo by Sgt. Zach Sheely, Public Affairs Office)
