VANUA LEVU, Fiji (June 17, 2015) Lt. Mike Feeny poses for a picture with children from the Viani Primary School during Pacific Partnership 2015. Seabees with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 11, Amphibious Construction Battalion 1, Air Force REDHORSE, Japan Self Defense Force, Marine and Fijian engineers worked together to build a new classroom at the Viani Primary School and celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Mercy is currently in Savusavu, Fiji for its first mission port of PP15. Pacific Partnership is in its 10th iteration and is the largest annual multilateral humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region. While training for crisis conditions, Pacific Partnership missions to date have provided medical care to approximately 270,000 patients and veterinary services to more than 38,000 animals.
