Luke Lichtenwalner, the operations sergeant major from Slatington, Penn., assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Division, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, tries to hit a ringer during the horseshoe competition at Joint Security Station Nassir Wa Salaam, Sept. 5. The day pitted Stallion Soldiers from different companies against each other to relax and enjoy the day. The talented throwers from Co. C won the horseshoe competition.
