Pfc. Jacob Capps, an airframe structural repair specialist with Company B, 96th Aviation Support Battalion, 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division, drills to enlarge holes in the metal of an aileron of a C-47 Skytrain, here, May 18, 2015. Sheet metal will replace canvas, and drilling the holes ensure that the replacement rivets will fit properly when installed. The metal panels will give the restoration more resistance to degradation from weather, ensuring that the airplane will continue to be on display for future members of the 101st Airborne.
