All-wheel mechanic Spc. Catlynn Kovacs from Colorado Springs, Colo., assigned to Headquarters Support Company, Division Special Troops Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division, works to install a new engine on a Mine-Resistant Ambush-Protected vehicle at Camp Liberty, Baghdad, Iraq, Sept. 9. The engine is held in place from a hook attached to a crane. Mechanics must stabilize the engine by mounting it in place. Maverick mechanics will package the older engine and ship it out for repair.
