150626-N-IO284-285 ATLANTIC OCEAN (June 26, 2015) Chief Boatswain's Mate Mark Brandt directs the placement of a palette aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) during a replenishment at sea (RAS) with the dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Robert E. Peary (T-AKE-5). The Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) are participating in ARG/MEUEX, a scenario-based amphibious integration exercise, in preparation for a future deployment.
