The local and traditional land owners of Bradshaw finish their ceremonial dance by waving to the U.S. Marines, U.S. Navy sailors and Australian soldiers June 23 after the “Welcome to Country” ceremony at Bradshaw Field Training Area, Northern Territory, Australia. The ceremony took place in conjunction with a static display before Exercise Koolendong at BFTA. Marine Rotational Force – Darwin highlights excellent opportunities to improve our knowledge of our allies’ customs and traditions which ultimately strengthens U.S.-Australian military interoperability.
