Col. Pat Savoy, commander of the 447th Air Expeditionary Group, presents Ohio Air National Guardmember Senior Master Sgt. Judson Schull with a certificate of appreciation, Sept. 3, after Schull and fellow Ohio Airman 1st Class Robert Bissett responded to a house fire near their base in Baghdad, Iraq. After noticing a plume of black smoke, the pair raced to the scene, aiding and relieving the overwhelmed Iraqi firefighters and are credited with preventing injury to the Iraqi firefighters and residents as well as reducing property damage.
