Sgt. 1st Class Ronald Miko (left), a soldier with the 416th Civil Affairs Battalion?s public safety team, uses a ?sharp? object to test a correctional officer?s ability to defend himself from a knife attack during the final day of training for the Correctional Emergency Response Team. The former correctional officer and other 416th soldiers taught officers at the Mosul Regional Confinement Facility techniques in clearing courtyards and securing delinquent prisoners.
