U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Kristine Earl helps build targets June 22 during Exercise Koolendong at Bradshaw Field Training Area, Northern Territory, Australia. Marines with Marine Rotational Force – Darwin are participating in bilateral training with the Australian Defence Force for a month, including dry and live-fire exercises with air and ground elements. The rotational deployment of Marines in Darwin enables them to more effectively train, exercise, and operate with partners, enhances regional security and builds capacity to respond more rapidly to natural disasters and crises throughout that region. Earl is a combat engineer with Combat Logistics Detachment 1, MRF-D. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Kathryn Howard/Released)
