INDIAN OCEAN (July 5, 2015) – An MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter, attached to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25 carries supplies to the flight deck of forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard as amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20), amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48), guided-missile destroyer USS Preble (DDG 88) conduct vertical replenishment (VERTREP) operations in the background. Bonhomme Richard is the lead ship of the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group (BHRESG) and is on patrol in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
