Sgt. John Kiser, a cook and Lindstrom, Minn., native, places food items into the Assault Kitchen during the 353rd Transportation Company's convoy operation to Camp Roberts, Calif., in support of Nationwide Move 15. The Assault Kitchen is a mobile cooking unit capable of preparing enough food for 250 Soldiers while on the move. The Assault Kitchen will be receiving its first long-haul test with the Reserve as it feeds more than 40 Soldiers over a distance of more than 2,000 miles. Nationwide 15 is an annual Army Reserve approved functional training exercise designed to provide Reserve Component transportation units with valuable, realistic training by conducting real-world operations in support of continental United States activities.
