Sgt. John Lambert, a cavalry scout from Saratoga Springs, N.Y., assigned to C Troop, 2nd Squadron, 13th Cavalry Regiment, works with soldiers of Iraqi 2nd Company, 2nd Commando Battalion, 11th Department of Border Enforcement Brigade on personnel search training at the Zaafran checkpoint recently. The U.S. Soldiers are deployed to Iraq from Fort Bliss, Texas, to advise and assist the Iraqi Department of Border Enforcement in Northern Maysan province.
