U.S. Ambassador to Kenya Michael E. Ranneberger talks with a resident who was burned in a recent fire in Faza Village Sept. 17, 2009. Ranneberger was in Faza to talk with locals and pledge America's support to those effected during a fire in the island village Sept. 5. During the visit he toured burned-out buildings, assisted in erecting a tent and met with locals. The fire burned approximately 350 houses displacing more than 2,100 people.
