Col. Bob Fode, North Dakota Army National Guard, Kosovo Forces 12, Task Force Falcon deputy commander, presents KFOR 12 troops to their commanding general, Brig. Gen. Alan Dohrmann, and First Army Division East commander, Maj. Gen. Michael Bednarek, during the departure ceremony at Camp Atterbury, Ind., Sept. 23. Prior to being deployed, the Soldiers undergo extensive training in before being validated as a unit. KFOR 12 is a brigade-sized combat team comprised of Soldiers from 14 states and territories.
