SAN DIEGO (Apr. 9, 2015) Navy Recruiting District San Diego, Division 2 Leading Petty Officer, Chief Navy Counselor Jesson Anderson conducts a final mentoring session with a Future Sailor before she reports to recruit training. All Future Sailors are placed in the Delayed Entry Program before they go to recruit training. DEP mentors Future Sailors and educates them about the expectations of Navy life as well as prepares them for the transition from civilian to Sailor.
