Sgt. Maj. Stan Ashford, operational sustainment sergeant major, speaks to over 100 Third Army NCOs located at Third Army headquarters on Fort McPherson and forward headquarters on Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, via video teleconference, about the changes the unit and the Army will be see over the next few months. 'We [Third Army] have become a Major Army Command with new responsibilities,' said Ashford. 'We are now at the same level as a U.S. Forces Command.'
