150508-N-VH054-029 Construction Electrician 1st Class Petty Officer Clinton Suggs was designated as an honorary chief petty officer at the Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center, May 8, 2015. Suggs, a former Underwater Construction Team Detachment November Mike 85, was one of six divers held hostage for 19 days after Hezbollah terrorists hijacked their commercial TWA flight in 1985. Pictured with Suggs from that UCT detachment is Lt. Stuart Dahl (left) and Master Chief Constructionman (DV/SCW) Kenneth Bowen (right). The brother of Steelworker 2nd Class (DV) Robert Stethem, who was killed by those hostages, presented Suggs with his honorary Chief Petty Officer cover. (Photo by MC2 (SW/AW) Harry Andrew D.
