Petty Officer 1st Class Russell Rea, builder, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 22, homeported in Fort Worth, Texas, works on a joint construction project with the 4th Engineer Battalion, based in Fort Carson, Colo. Seabees and Soldiers from both units are building new facilities to improve working conditions at the 4th En Bn compound. The units, under the operational control of the 30th Naval Construction Regiment, are deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
