A sea-based MTVR rolls off the USNS 2nd Lt. John C. Bobo here as part of Maritime Pre-positioning Force Offload 2009. The exercise is conducted by Marines and Sailors of U.S. Marine Corps Forces Europe and other participating units in order to test and refine the logistics of providing a robust forward presence in its area of operations.
