Army Spc. Matthew Riggle, an AH-64 attack helicopter repairer from Company D, 3rd Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), installs a bracket that is used to connect the rotors onto the drive shaft of an AH-64D Apache Longbow attack helicopter Aug. 13, 2009, at Forward Operating Base Salerno, Afghanistan. The Apache is undergoing its mandatory 125 hour inspection, in which specific parts of the helicopter is taken apart and thoroughly inspected to make sure it is safe to fly.
