Lt. Col. Christopher Naler, commanding officer, Brigade Headquarters Group, Marine Expeditionary Brigade-Afghanistan, congratulates a British soldier with Normandy Company., 4th Battalion, The Mercian Regiment. The British soldiers worked alongside Marines from BHG to secure and patrol the area just beyond the fences and perimeter barriers of Camps Leatherneck and Bastion, an area known as Belleau Wood North. The team conducted more than 50 joint patrols around Camps Leatherneck and Bastion during the five months they worked together. The British troops head home now for some much-deserved leave.
