Tom Shull, Army & Air Force Exchange Service Director/CEO, and Lorraine Arthurs, Exchange merchandise assistant, make the first cut in a cake to celebrate the Exchange’s 120th anniversary at the organization’s headquarters in Dallas, July 23, 2015. Arthurs is the longest serving associate at the Exchange’s headquarters, having begun her career in 1967. The Exchange, originally established on July 25, 1895, when the War Department issued General Orders 46, celebrates 12 decades of proudly serving Soldiers, Airmen, retirees and their families at home and around the world.
