Students discuss security measures July 24 during a security engineering workshop in classroom two at the mess hall on Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, Okinawa. Department of Defense employees covered anti-terrorism, security and engineering support to secure DoD assets. Students were confronted with scenarios in which they were required to explain and illustrate how they would protect buildings and other assets through strategic construction and design according to the given force protection condition. The training was led by engineers from the Army Corps of Engineers Protective Design Center.
