150725-N-GG458-055 ATLANTIC OCEAN (July 25, 2015) Quartermaster 2nd Class Sebastian Mahanrainwater uses a stadometer to measure the distance between the amphibious transport dock ship USS Arlington (LPD 24) and the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) during a simulated straits transit exercise. Arlington is underway with the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group (KSGARG) and the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (26th MEU) in preparation for its maiden deployment.
