This is one of many fresh water spouts U.S. Soldiers from 305th Psychological Operations Company, 17th Fires Brigade, found in the city of Al Faw, while on a patrol of the area to observe the use of the water supply in the southern area of Basra province, in southern Iraq, Oct. 2, 2009. The supply of 680,000 liters a day is a joint operation between U.S. Forces and the government of Iraq.
