Marines with Truck Company, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, used smoke to signal to aircraft the landing zone for a casualty evacuation during a motorized operations course aboard Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., July 30. The training allowed the Marines to conduct multiple scenarios in order to receive vital feedback on operating procedures.
