Spc. David Traynor, a combat medic with Company C, 25th Brigade Support Battalion, 1st Brigade, 25th Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade Combat Team), bleeds a line of IV solution so air does not remain in the tubing before inserting the IV into the arm of a patient. The simulated injuries were part of the companys mass casualty training exercise held Oct. 31 at the Forward Operating Base Marez medical clinic in Mosul, Iraq.
