ARTA BEACH, Djibouti (July 26, 2015) U.S. Marine Gunnery Sgt. Michael Ramirez, left, ensures Lance Cpl. George Camden weapon is free of rounds after establishing a battle-sight zero. Ramirez is a platoon sergeant and Camden is a vehicle driver, both with Combined Anti-Armor Team 1, Weapons Company, Battalion Landing Team 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit. Elements of the 15th MEU are ashore in Djibouti for sustainment training to maintain and enhance the skills they developed during their pre-deployment training period. The 15th MEU is currently deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of operation.
