A Marine with 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion dons his gas mask in preparation to fire his weapon during a 36 yard battle sight zero range at Fort A.P. Hill, Va., Aug. 1, 2015. The range prepared the Marines’ weapons for firing and marked the beginning of a three-week-long deployment for training where the battalion will enhance the Marines’ knowledge of their combat engineer skills in a unique training environment to prepare them for upcoming deployments.
