Two commandos with 148 (Meiktila) Commando Forward Observation Battery, Royal Artillery, look out across a range at Camp Pendleton, Calif. Sept. 16, to sketch the layout of the land. This was done for quick references in distances and target locations during close-air support missions with 1st Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company. This was part of annual training to strengthen old and new working relationships.
