SURABAYA, Indonesia (Aug. 4, 2015) – Rear Adm. Charlie Williams, commander, Task Force 73, congratulates Boatswain’s Mate 1st Class Jeffery Butler, Sailor of the Year, aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42) during Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Indonesia 2015. In it’s 21st year, CARAT is an annual, bilateral exercise series with the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps and the armed forces of nine partner nations including Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Timor-Leste.
