Spc. David Brown, a forward observer, assists Spc. Zachary Welsing install a propeller on a Raven unmanned aerial vehicle used by their unit, Company C, 1st Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Advise and Assist Brigade, for surveillance near a bridge project along the Euphrates River north of Al Taqqadum, Al Anbar province, Iraq, Oct. 5, 2009. Welsing has received special training to pilot the Raven; his unit is assisting Iraqi police, who are providing primary security for the bridge project workers.
