GULF OF ADEN (Aug. 6, 2015) A U.S. Navy landing craft, air cushion prepares to depart the well deck of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Anchorage (LPD 23) to Djibouti during a routine personnel and cargo movement. The Marines of the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit are embarked aboard the Anchorage, which is part of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group and is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
