Command Sgt. Maj. James Pippin, the command sergeant major of 3rd "Greywolf" Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cav. Div., explains the significance of the Order of the Spur to Marine Sgt. John Eubanks, who participated in Operation Proper Exit. Eubanks and the warriors with him were inducted into the Order of the Spur at Forward Operating Base Sykes, Oct. 12, in honor of their service and sacrifice in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
